Our Mission

We write hotel and destination pages so a first trip through Central America is easier to plan. The useful version of that is specific: airport to first hotel, daily costs, and which town to sleep in. We do not claim a personal stay on every page.

Curated hotel pages for every Central American country, from budget stays to luxury resorts, with practical details from public sources. A listing is not a personal visit unless the page says so.

Destination pages with arrival, budget, and what actually changes by season or village. Not a list of must-see cliches.

Bars & Nightlife

Neighborhood nightlife guides for hotel guests: Antigua and Lake Atitlán evenings, Panama City rooftops and Casco Viejo, Costa Rica beach towns, and El Tunco. We describe areas and what to expect, not invented venue hours or promotions.

Our Team

Hotels Central America is an editorial desk that researches hotels and destinations across the region. We use public property information, official sources, and traveler feedback, and we update pages when reliable information changes. We do not claim a personal stay on every hotel page.

Editorial independence means hotels cannot pay for a better write-up. Affiliate links to booking sites are disclosed. Recommendations stay on quality, value, and what travelers report.

Our Values

  • Honesty. Research notes stay separate from personal-visit claims. Affiliate links are marked.
  • Accuracy. We update pages when prices, hours, or access change and we can confirm it.
  • Budget range. Hostels and five-star pages sit in the same directory.
  • Local specifics. Village, airport, and season first. Tourist-trap lists last.
  • Photos. Hotel images come from official hotel sites, press kits, or public social posts for travel research, credited as courtesy of the property. Destination landscapes use Unsplash, Pexels, or Wikimedia photos with a commercial license. We do not use Booking, TripAdvisor, or Expedia watermarks, and we do not invent hotel facades with AI.
